Lee Rice dropped by Sat during our Golden Era event to give me a hand in putting the first check out flight on the Strutter.  For the uninformed - This is a Proctor Kit, 1/6 Scale 1-1/2 Strutter, 65" WS (BiPlane), powered by an AXI 4130-20, Jeti 77 Opto ESC and 8 A123 cells.  The flight appeared to be uneventful, able to loop from straight & level.  He put around 7 minutes on it and landed well ahead of the batteries going soft.  More flights to come as I hope to fly it a DEAF in Seagoville in a couple of weeks.

Lee also took the time to fly Ed Newman's "small" 1/6 scale Fiesler Storch 94" WS that I did an electric conversion on.  This was it's maiden flight and was totally unpainted as I needed to prove to Ed that it would fly with electric power.
